heritage site, the Red Fort is one of the spectacular
examples of Mughal architecture in India. It was built by
the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jehan between 1638 and 1648. Every

Minister of India unfurls the national flag and address the
nation from the Fort.
Old Fort (Purana Quila), the citadel, was raised by the

Humayun. The mosque and the Sher Mandal are important
buildings in this citadel, created in 1541 AD.

and water. Humayun's Tomb is a classical example of Mughal
architecture in India. It was built by Emperor Humayun's
grieving widow,Haji Begum in 1565 AD.
